Data stored in your browser
My bookshelf, personal journal notes and appearance setting are stored only in your browser. They are not sent to a server. Clearing browser storage removes them; export a copy before clearing if you want to keep your reading data.
Analytics and cookies
This site runs no analytics and displays no cookie banner. It does not set analytics cookies.
Third-party services
If you follow a link to Audible or Bookshop.org, that retailer handles your visit under its own privacy policy. The hosting provider processes technical request data, such as the request needed to deliver a page and protect the service.
Lawful basis and retention
We rely on legitimate interests to respond to messages and keep this site secure. Browser-only reading data stays on your device until you delete it. The hosting provider may process technical request data to deliver and protect the site. Its retention period depends on the data and purpose; Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes its general retention approach and does not give one period for every service. If you email us, your message is used to respond and kept only as long as needed to handle the request.
Your rights
You may ask whether we process your personal data and request access, correction or deletion where applicable. Email webmaster@travelacrosstime.com with a privacy question. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
